According to the Vail Daily, a 6-year-old boy from Illinois was run over by a bus on Saturday, August 10 in Vail. The bus driver, a 66-year-old man, was flagged down by several observers after running the boy over. He was unaware that he had struck the boy. The boy was taken to Vail Valley Medical Center and later moved to Denver Health where he is in serious condition. The Vail Police Department and Colorado State Patrol are currently working together to find out the cause of the accident.
There are three main groups of people that may be involved in bus accidents:
bus drivers and passengers
automobile drivers and passengers
There are many factors to consider if you or someone you know have been injured in a accident. First and foremost, seek immediate medical attention if needed. If the bus involved in an accident is at fault, the next steps in the process will vary based on what type of bus it is, e.g. school bus, owned by the government, etc.
